From Pixels to Prayer – The Art of the Eternal

Panos new profile

For over 20 years, my hands have been immersed in the language of the modern world. As a Senior Designer and Professor, I have spent my life mastering the “architecture” of pixels, the strategy of branding, and the logic of the digital frontier. My career is built on technical rigor—shaping vibrant realities for industries that move at the speed of light.

Design is my craft. It is how I see the world. It is my life’s work.

But beneath the layers of code, the UI/UX flows, and the academic theories, there is a space that remains quiet. It is a space where the ephemeral nature of a screen gives way to the solid, timeless weight of wood.

Where the Pixel Ends, the Sacred Begins.

While I spend my days teaching the future of design, my soul finds its resonance in the Ancient. Based in Brooklyn, New York, I have taken two decades of professional expertise and brought it to the service of Orthodox Christian Icons. To me, an icon is not just “art”—it is a window.

  • Design is about solving problems; Icons are about finding peace.
  • Design is for the moment; Icons are for the generations.
  • Design is my profession; Icons are my prayer.

Every handmade wooden-mounted icon I create is a fusion of these two worlds. I use the eye of a master designer to ensure every line is perfect, and the heart of a believer to ensure every grain of wood carries a story. This is my deepest journey: taking the “magic” I felt as a child and turning it into something you can hold in your hand—a pocket-sized sanctuary for your own quiet moments.

I am Panagiotis. I build digital worlds by day, so that I may honor the eternal world by night. Welcome to this intersection of logic and light.
